Restaurant Olympos in Alt Garge

We try to support local restaurants and shops, especially during the Corona period. So did the Greek in Alt Garge. We were here for the first time and we can say that we were satisfied. + Portion size: more than sufficient. Are very full. + Friendliness: I was served politely on the phone and was greeted very friendly at the door when I was picked up. Very good. The taste of the food was good. The meat could be a little more spicy but it is also a matter of taste. - I'll deduct one point from the Tzatziki. It tasted like it was bought and was a little too little for this portion. Still 4/5 stars and an absolute recommendation. We will be happy to come back or order.

Square. Practically. Well. This establishment is better than the familiar square chocolate treat. The dining room is square, with a sufficient outside area, practically the short distances and good, which means better here, the quality of the dishes served. Not to forget the unmistakable cordiality of the staff with the boss Stavros at the helm. A recommendation for all tourists, including those who are bored from the Dianaklinik in Bad Bevensen.

Small but nice

Good, rich and inexpensive food, nice service. Unfortunately the drinks were all too warm, so it's best to ask for ice cubes right away. The outdoor area is right on the street, but is bearable. With great pleasure again!

Bad food, everything we had. Salad (mainly iceberg with a spoon of mayonnaise), bread (dry and seared), two main dishes (tough meat, canned tsatsiki, nasty margarine herb butter). Not a Greek baked potato, but a big one. No dish like Moussaka or Pastitio on the menu. And all of that is not exactly cheap. Addendum: where do the photos of the other reviews come from? What is depicted has nothing to do with what we had before us.

Update on 17.11.2019 Yesterday we went to the Christmas party once more in the restaurant. I agreed because it was an invitation. Now I could extend my 2 stars to four stars, because it was a really successful evening with delicious food. The service was friendly and informal, very quick and attentive, my appetizer, the salad and the main course were fresh hot, delicious and adequate. My gyros was a bit dry, but I will test again, if we go there for two, I think at the same time for 20 people to have everything perfect, is also very difficult. But we could actually eat almost at the same time, and that with map selection. Great praise and respect. We will come back again and see if we get the last star full. Thank you for the lovely evening We were so pleased that the place was enriched by a restaurant and have now finally managed to bring us home to test the new Greeks. The lid on and immediately the first disappointment. The portions all looked like kids' plates. We had maybe every 5-6 fries on the plate, these were also very dry and looked like double deep fried. The gyros was also very dry and tasted rather lax. The joke was actually the salad, I have not seen anything like that. ??? unfortunately I would not go there for a second time or go out to eat, but the alternatives in Bleckede are simply better. It's a shame, I've been sitting outside in the summer with a good meal and cool cyclists, but I can also make a diet at home.
